Tweety had a rest of 2 weeks, today we drove to Marathon Key to Curry Hammock State Park.,. Our timing was perfect because a cold front pushed us down here and the temps will be much nicer here than at Punta Gorda.

The beach here is pretty nice, and very few people. I did not know that this park exsisted until I was trying to book something. There are only about 25 sites.
We saw a large fish jump out of the water out a ways. It looked like a sword fish.
We walked the total beach.
Our neighbor Wayne Sexton told me we had to go to Porky's.
The food was good and pretty reasonable. It has the feel of the 1970's
The beer was good and you sat right on the water.
The real reason we came was to have their Deep Fried Key Lime Pine.
It was to die for and it may do that.
