Day Two NYC

Our ferry to Manhattan, we took our bikes to ride.

NYC has many little harbors.

We recognized this boat, it has been at Annapolis boat show.
They cut the boat apart and added 55 feet.

This is a pic of the stern of the boat.

This small harbor is very pretty.

Statue of Liberty standing strong across the river. Think about all of the events she has watched.

A load full going the Statue

Ok the building is not on it's side, but this is the new World's trade center building

As we cruised down the bike trail you would not think you were in New York City

This boat is about like ours at lake Erie.

We had lunch at Murray's at 500 America's  Street. This picture shows some really exciting people.
Lunch was very good and reasonably priced. Another Travel Advisory find.

The monument at the south entrance of Central Park.

The traditional carriage ride.

You never know what you will see at Central Park. Here a lady is singing opera.

The reservoir at Central Park

On our way back we saw the museum - ship. Next time I would like to tour it.
A good day, we rode our bikes about 15 miles today in some very crowded areas. The item that I notice about New York is the noise and the air traffic. It never stops, if you look to the sky you will always see a jet and a couple of helicopters.
