Adirondacks to Lake Chaplain

Our camper for the night, a little larger than Tweety.
Ok no air, no heat , no refrig. We stayed with Tweety.

Nice campfire, too bad no Peeps.

Tweety at his site at the Gateway to the Adirondacks campground.

We hiked up Panther Mountain

You have to sign at the start so that if you come up missing or something.

It is encouraging to see what others had written.

The trail was not that long, but was steep at times.

Old people can make it up.

We made it and the view was fantastic.

Had lunch at the top.

Nice place to neck.

Old man and the mountain

The view is great.

Hate to leave this place, but have to go down.

At the lake level now. The water was really clear.

The Gateway to the Adirondacks campground is huge. They have shelters for back packers.

View from the campground.

They had a tree house that we played in.

Meet a very skinny guy and his dog. They had been fishing.

Made it to Plattsburgh NY today. It is on Lake Champlain. The marina had a lot of boats.

We liked this cat boat.

There was a Lagoon 38 that had been hit in the stern with temporary repairs.

The view out of Tweety at Lake Champlain and the mountains in Vermont.

Tweety's resting place for the night at Cumberland Bay State Park in Plattsburgh, NY

A perfect end to a perfect day.
