Week crossing arcross the North Shore of Lake Erie

Our Canadian friends John and Tina taking off with their Boler at the Algonac Rally

The ferry that would be taking us to Canada across the St. Clair river.

Tweety on the ferry with a antique fire truck.

We are entering Canada, the ferry made it across a swift river.

A small turtle trying to make it across the street.

A frog trying to make it across the trail.

People trying to find the trail. Biking was very good here.

The bay was full of wildlife. There were turtle and frogs everywhere.

You have to keep your ears tuned to the sound of nature

We rode our bikes about 12 miles to the end of the marsh.

Our second night in Canada we stayed with our friends Mary Anne and Alf Stacey. They treated us to a wonderful salmon dinner. We also met their nice friends Liz and Roger that have a place in Ft Myers beach.

Port Stanley draw bridge is a nice looking draw bridge. The boat docks are just behind the bridge. I would want to go up stream as far as possible for dockage because with a south wind the boats were rocking.

Port Burwell has a submarine that you can go through. This was a ship building town at one time.

Not sure what these berries are, but they were very pretty.

Long Point Provincial Park has 11 km of beach. We enjoyed a nice walk on the beach.

Campsite at Long Point Provincial Park.

Port Dover has a very nice marina.

Rocky Point Provincial Park has some healthy grape vines.

The beach has fossils everywhere. Another part of the beach was nice sand.

We climbed up a lookout over the beach.
