Day Three at the White Mountains Wonderland

We love the campground sign at Mountain Lake Campground. If you want to camp in the area this is the one to stay at. The facilities are nice and very clean.

The trees are popping out in color.

This is the second moose we saw. The other one was on the road and then ran into the woods and looked at us.

Today we went to the Flume.

We brought Amy here in 2007 as a graduation present.

The water rushes down the gorge called a flume.

You can see some water coming down the flume

There are steps all the way up the flume

There was a small falls at the top of the flume.

This was bear cave, but we did not find anyone at home. We did get sleepy though, but the beds were not right.

Look closely you can see rock people pointing the way.

Picture of the pool. It was a long way down, but some woman was planning her dive. I do not think she was right in the head.

Some color of the mountains, pictures do not capture it.

The two in the left corner were fly fishing.

More color.

After seeing the one go across the road in front of us we heed these signs.

Sunset from our campsite.

The end to a great visit in the White Mountains. Tomorrow we go to Bar Harbor, Maine.
