White Mountains, Hiked Mount Willard

Put this in for our friends Jim and Cathy. They have an r-pod and thought maybe it was them.

Yes, they do have moose, but we have not seen one yet.

There is a train that you can ride on through the valleys and mountains. We were at Crawfords notch.

The train stopped at Crawford's notch. We got on the trail right across the train tracks.
At the head of the trail it says only 1.6 miles, no problem.

There was a little water falls.

Better pic of the water falls up Mt. Willard

Nice to see that the rock people were pointing the correct way to go.

When you make it to the top
it looks like you are going to the light, but as you can see we are way up the mountain and the view is great..

At the top, that is a road way down there.

Better look at the road. We will go down to the parking lot you see at the top of the picture when we get down.

Becky getting ready to make the decent.

The train station at Crawford.

This pic shows the mountain that we climbed. A long way up there.

A couple of wild turkeys taking a stroll before Thanksgiving.
The Mount Washington Resort looks very unreal in it's setting

How would you like to stay here?

Last pic of the day was a water falls "Silver Cascade". There are many of these and in the Spring they would be wild.
