Summer Highlight 2014

This has been a quick and wonderful summer. Seems like yesterday that we were just making it back to Ohio. Yesterday we started our trip back to Florida via who knows where. Follow our adventure as it unfolds.

Make sure you save this blog web site in your favorites.

The boat "Wind Dancer" is on it way to the water June 15th 2014.

It is always fun to see the mast go up and the boat go on to the lift.

Out on the water again.

Our friends Ron and Mary Turnau came to the lake for a visit.

Sunset the Fourth of July at Put-In-Bay awaiting the fantastic fireworks.

Wait no more, what a show.

We camped for a week at Indian Lake with Jodi and her family plus Tyler's parents.

Corbin and Grandma having a "whale" of a time.

Doug seriously making a S'more.

Grandma Smith and Grandma Asbury with Zach, Corbin and Tyler at the beach.

Deb, Corbin and Captain Jodi sailing the high seas of Indian Lake.

Tyler, Zach and Captain Jodi.

Amy, Zach, Jodi, Corbin and Doug with Doug's great Birthday cake.

We met up with our friends at Gore Bay in the North Channel to cruise on their newly purchased boat for a week. Alan and Sandy Reichert with their Grandson Eric.

If you have never been to the North Channel it is NOT to be missed. Impossible to show with pictures.

This is the Reichert's boat on the right anchored in the Benjamin Islands.

We met up with more friends from WMV and had a great campfire.

Spanish Harbor was a good stopping point for supplies.

Bear Drop Islands as the sun sets with our boat on the right.

Brenda Geckler and Becky. The Gecklers are from Catawba Island and cruised the North Channel  in their boat this summer. We met up in Gore Bay our last the day in the North Channel.

Finally a nice evening anchored north of Kelly's Island.

Becky, Tyler, Corbin, Jodi and Zach cooling off in the lake.

Becky with the big guns ready to defend Doug from Zach who is on the boat.
