New Hampshire to Bar Harbor ME

On our way to Bar Harbor we had to stop at the North Pole and visit Santa.
Tweety was a little cold.

Rudolph was there to great us.

Once again a lot of color and the sun would hit the hills in the distance and light the trees.

We also met Paul and his blue ox. Paul was a big guy and I did not want to make him mad because he carried a weapon.

This is a hydro plant along the way. We traveled route 2 most of the way, even though our GPS wanted us to get on the interstate.

A quad masted ship moored off of Bar Harbor

Look closely you can see the same rock people we saw yesterday.

This rock is balanced on the edge of another. When the glacier melted the rock was on top of the glacier

Becky had to hold on to her hat, the wind was brisk.

The boats moored out at Bar Harbor

If you ever make it here go to the bar at Paddy's and order their nachos. They are nothing like you have ever had. Only get one order for the two of you.  These are the nachos that we have gone on so about.  Yes, they were as good this time as the first.

Doug had a whale of a time at Bar Harbor.

Another shot of the harbor, can't seem to get enough of these.
Back at our campground. Notice the rock on the right. The tide was pretty low, but you can see the high water mark on the large rock about 2/3 the way up.
