Day Two Bar Harbor

We traveled to Bass Harbor on Mount Desert Island to get some lobster at Thurston's

The price was reasonable and we picked them live.

Look at the claws on these-yum. We picked half lobster, so they are not the smallest.

Every lobsterman has his own buoy.

Thurston's Truck, bet it could tell some stories.
If you make it out here stop by Thurston's. Get there early for lunch and you will enjoy.

You can see all of the traps stacked up on the dock

The dark boat is unloading lobsters.

This is a very pretty harbor.

L.L. Bean was taking a picture shoot of the guy with the striped oxford shirt.  Coming soon maybe in the next L.L.Bean catalog.

I was taking a shot of a model too.

We had a great day traveling around the island.
